The value for money at Tylwyth in Waenfawr was excellent, with a cozy and well-equipped house that had a great heating system. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area and it was a short drive away from Caernarfon, Abersoch, Pwllheli, and Llandudno. The staff was friendly and the check-in and check-out process was convenient.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast menu better was having a wider variety of options to choose from.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to the beautiful Welsh countryside and popular attractions such as Snowdonia and Caernarfon. the convenience store nearby was a great advantage for any essentials needed during the stay. the well-equipped kitchen in the cottage allowed for easy cooking and the large and light bathroom was a pleasant surprise.
The lack of information booklet on how to operate the television, heaters, and access the WiFi was inconvenient.

Tylwyth Villa was a fantastic find for our Snowdonia getaway. The cozy cottage had all the amenities we needed and a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a breeze. The bathroom was spacious and bright, and everything worked perfectly. The convenience store just a few yards away was a bonus, and we appreciated the late opening hours. The location in Waenfawr was ideal for exploring Snowdonia, Caernarfon, the Llyn Peninsula, and Anglesey. Free parking nearby made it even more convenient.
Although the cottage provided a comfortable stay, the morning traffic noise from the main village road was a bit disruptive, especially as it started early in the morning. Some blackout curtains in the bedroom and a glazed back door at the foot of the stairs would have been useful to block out the strong June sunlight.

We had a great stay at Tylwyth in a very central location to explore the beautiful Welsh countryside. The small and cosy home had everything we needed and was equipped with good internet. The heating system quickly warmed up the house on cold winter days. The location was excellent, allowing us to easily visit nearby towns and attractions like Caernarfon Castle. The view from the house was also very nice. we would recommend this place for a couple looking to explore Snowdonia.
